Good morning everyone. Just a reminder that the raffle draw will be this Friday, August 7th at 5PM. It will be head at Nicola Valley Sports @ 2125 Quilchena Ave.
There are only a few tickets left but there is still time. You can get them in person or message the club and we can do an etransfer as well.
First place-Sturgeon fishing trip for four people in Lillooet BC. Includes 2 nights accommodation.
Second place-$1,000 People’s Jewelers gift card.
Third place-1 day, 2 nights access to Nakusp Hot Spring. Includes gift card to local Resturant.
Tickets are $20 each and only 300 will be sold.

A reminder that starting tomorrow at noon and running until the end of day Sunday, the range will be closed for a shooting event. The range will reopen again on Monday morning as per our usual schedule. Thanks for your time and understanding.

Another Family Fishing Event is in the books and it was a success. The weather was perfect, the fish were a little hungry, & everyone had a fun time.
We had 15 kids sign up for the event with others coming from the Park with their own gear.
A big thanks for the Freshwater Fishing Society for the donation of the rods to hand out to the new anglers.
Attached is a picture of but one of the anglers who caught their first fish today. He couldn’t take his eyes off it and was beaming all day.
This event couldn’t happen without the volunteers from the Club and I would like to extend my thanks to them for helping make this event one of the highlights of the year.

The Club has decided to do another raffle. This one is a little different than our regular rifle ones.
First prize: 1 day, 2 nights accommodation, guided sturgeon fishing trip in Lillooet. River Monster Adventures will take care of your trip and all your needs.
Second prize: $1,000 gift card to People’s Jewellers
Third prize: 1 night stay, 2 days access to the Nakusp Hot Springs. And a gift card for a local Resturant.

Draw date is August 7, 2026 at 5PM. And will be held at Nicola Valley Sports, 2125 Quilchena Ave in Merritt.

Tickets are $20 each and only 300 tickets will be sold. Tickets can be purchased at Ponderosa Sports and Nicola Valley Sports in town. And, a number of directors also have tickets.

Good morning everyone. Just a reminder that we will be holding our Father’s Day, Family fishing event this Sunday. It will be at the West Pind witching the Kentucky Alleyne park and will run from 10AM until 2PM. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
This is a stocked pond for youth and children to learn to fish at. The BC Freshwater Fisheries Society has graciously donated rods that we will be giving away to kids who don’t already own fishing gear.
Come on out and enjoy some fishing, exciting spring weather, and what is guaranteed to be a fun time.

Just a reminder that this months work bee is this Sunday, & not on Mother’s Day. We hope to see you out there to help with various projects to improve the range.
Some of the items on the list are:
External fence sign painting
shotgun shed roofing/siding
Clubhouse cleaning
Outhouse revitalization
General garbage clean up
Shooting shed maintenance
Rimfire bench replacement

Along with many more. It all depends on the amount of volunteers & their skill/ability.

As always, snacks & lunch will be provided for volunteers. The range will be closed for this event. And it will run from 9am until 1pm. Thanks for your time & we’ll see you out there.
