Duel It

Duel It An annual event to raise funds for kids cancer. In 2015 we had our inaugural event hoping to raise $2500 for the Ride to Conquer Cancer.

Since our inaugural event in 2015, we have raised $523,234 helping kids affected by cancer, including camps, research and other support needed. After shaving 4 heads and raising over $15K, we had attendees that night express that they wanted this to be an annual event. In 2016 we implemented 2 'Dueling' charities; Tour for Kids (http://www.tourforkids.com/alberta/about/coast-to-coast/) and Medicine Hat & District Health Foundation (http://myhealthfoundation.ca/)

From the stage to the silent auction, from setup to teardown, our volunteer team brought heart, energy, and so much love to this event. It did not disappoint—so delicious we had to bring a bottle home with us!

These beautiful paintings were lovingly created by Medicine Hat students for Duel It, and they’ll be displayed on the tables at the event. Every brushstroke is a reminder of why we do this to show up for kids fighting cancer and the families walking alongside them.
