Before your first ride — and every ride — take a minute.

Check your tire pressure.
Test your brakes.

Confirm your lights and signals work. Make sure your chain and controls move freely.
Small habits prevent big consequences.
Safety isn’t complicated — it’s consistent.

Last week, Moto Canada President & CEO Landon French joined Motorcycle Industry Council members in Washington, D.C. for meetings on Capitol Hill and with officials from the Canadian Embassy to discuss the future of the North American powersports market and the importance of maintaining a strong Canada–U.S. trade relationship.

The Canadian and American powersports industries are deeply connected — from manufacturing and supply chains to dealerships, tourism, recreation, and small businesses on both sides of the border.

Over the past year, the industry has faced ongoing uncertainty surrounding tariffs, pricing pressures, and supply chain planning. Moto Canada continues advocating for practical solutions that protect riders, consumers, dealers, and the long-term competitiveness of the powersports industry across North America.

During discussions in Washington, the importance of stability, affordability, and a competitive North American market remained front and centre — especially as trade uncertainty continues to impact inventory planning and pricing across motorcycles, ATVs, and side-by-sides.

Moto Canada appreciates the opportunity for constructive conversations with industry and government partners and will continue advocating for policies that support long-term growth and stability for the powersports community across Canada and the United States.

✔️ Gardez vos distances.
✔️ Respectez la position dans la voie.
✔️ Évitez de vous entasser dans la circulation.
