Proceeds from our bake sales are going towards Hall improvements. New volunteers, bakers and cooks are always welcome.

Today was a very special day at our Rock Salt Cafe. We celebrated 3 of our community members who are part of the backbone of Malagash. First, Helen Duggan, who is an original signer of our Community Hall. 2nd, Sam Treen, who has turned 99, and was the 1st President of Malagash Hertiage Association. 3rd, Charlie Duggan, on the right side, is 93 and one of the few remaining Malagash miners. His younger brother Peter (91), on the left and is also one of the original miners. Thank you to all who came out to help celebrate our honorees. Helen, Sam, and Charlie, thank you for all you have done for Malagash.

Please note that our Diamond Jubilee has been postponed for a future date. It will NOT be held on July 18th.
Our grant did not come through , it was next to impossible to find someone to cater and the one we did find was cost prohibitive. Please watch for updates.

Thank you to everyone who helped to make our luncheonsuch a huge success. Thank you to Gail for looking after the bake table, you brought us luck. The feedback from today was amazing. We sold out! Not a drop of chili or soup was left. Thank you, everyone!

It's membership time again $10 for adults, children in the family are free. There will be a prize draw on Friday at the luncheon for those who get their membership early.
