The Three Churches Foundation is a registered Canadian Charity dedicated to preserving the iconic Edgewater streetscape, which includes the Three Churches; St.James, St. The Three Churches Foundation was formed because the three churches are a cultural icon in the region and in Nova Scotia, being one of the most beautiful spots in the province and a major tourist attraction. John’s Lutheran Church and Trinity United Church, the three churches on Edgewater Street in Mahone Bay joined together to form this Foundation. Representatives of the Town of Mahone Bay, the Chamber of Commerce and other community organizations were added as
members because it is in the interests of the town, the province and the community generally to preserve the three churches and the Edgewater streetscape. The Foundation conducts various fundraising events to enable it to meet its objectives, which are:

1. To take all reasonable measures to preserve the streetscape comprised of the three churches situated on Edgewater Street in Mahone Bay;

2. All Donations are gratefully accepted. Board of the Three Churches 2020-2021
