Congratulations to Dr. Ardra Cole, ElderDog Canada's founder and executive director, who was just appointed professor emeritus by Mount Saint Vincent University. Dr. Cole's academic research on Alzheimer's disease and her lived experience volunteering in long-term and palliative care, combined with her personal experience of loss and the love and care of an old, ill dog, led directly to the idea for ElderDog Canada.
