Happy Spring! The Lumby Girl Guides are selling the beautiful, local Greenbush Greenhouse flower baskets again this year! Help us raise funds for our new crest. Baskets and herb bowls are $40 each. It's almost game time! Saturday, March 14 is our first-ever Girl Guide Day with PWHL Vancouver, with nearly 800 members/families who signed up with our discount promo, plus many eager Guiding season ticket holders.

Don't forget to wear your uniform or favourite GGC gear - only members who attend in Guiding wear will receive the limited-edition hockey jersey crest & a ballot for a Goldeneyes merchandise draw. Find our member booth on the lower level of the Pacific Coliseum. From the main level concourse, use the staircase downstairs located at Section 121. We'll be there from 10:30am until the end of the 2nd intermission.

(We'll also have an info booth on the concourse level but it's for sharing Girl Guide youth programs & adult volunteer opportunities with public game-goers. Visit the member booth downstairs for all your crests/ballots!)

Lumby Girl Guide units will be celebrating next weekend in a variety of ways...
A few of our Guides and Pathfinders will be joining others at an area overnight camp that are exploring the friendship theme for this year.
Guides, Pathfinders, and Rangers, will continue their learning and celebration of World Thinking Day at their regular meeting night, too.
Sparks and Embers will be exploring World Thinking Day and the theme of friendship through special activities on Sunday 22 out in nature in Lumby!

Sparks & Embers had a great time on Monday taking part in the Science Exploration Challenge 2025 🎈

- Paper Airplanes, learning about gravity, resistance, drag, aerodynamics
- Static Electricity with Balloons, learning about electrical attraction
- Mixing Candy Colours, learning about dissolving, diffusion, and density and movement of liquids
- Marshmallow Structures, with toothpicks, to be able to hold a paperback book, learning structure design and problem-solving
