People often assume programs like this have teams of paid staff behind them.

The reality is that the Q***r Food Bank exists because volunteers keep showing up.

Every food pickup, registration, donation sort, grocery haul, tote packed, message answered, and table set up happens because volunteers give their time, energy, and care. This community is built by people showing up after work, between responsibilities, and in the middle of their own busy lives because they believe everyone deserves access to food and care.

Right now, we help feed around 20 people and families every month and that would not happen without the people behind the scenes making it all work.

Community care is people caring for each other. That’s what this is.

If you’ve volunteered, donated, shared a post, helped pack food, or supported us in any way, thank you. It matters more than you probably realize. 💛

Dear London Le***an Film Festival Team, and Festival Goers,

On behalf of everyone at the Q***r Food Bank, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for selecting us as donation recipients during this year’s festival.

We are incredibly grateful for your generosity, support, and commitment to uplifting local q***r organizations and community initiatives. Thanks to the kindness of festival attendees and your ongoing support, we raised over $600 in just one weekend. This is an amazing contribution that will directly help us continue providing low-barrier food support, resources, and community care to q***r and trans individuals in London.

Here’s the tea…Come out for a climb at Junction Climbing Centre tomorrow night for their monthly q***r climb, and help support our programming and Q***r Food Bank!

Got some cans, pasta, hygiene products that are hanging around looking for a new home? Bring ‘em in!
Come on out for a good time and a great cause!

Join us Saturday, April 18th from 7:30–9:30 PM for a safe, inclusive, after-hours climbing session for the Q***r community.

This time, your pass also includes a complimentary mocktail/fun bevergino from the cafe, available only that night!✨

🌈 $5 from each pass goes to PFLAG

If you’ve ever wondered how QFB works, this is it. Simple, clear, no guesswork. We open registration the second week of each month, and pickup happens the third Wednesday. Location stays private for safety, and details are sent after you sign up. If you need food support, you are welcome here. If you’re in a place to give, we always need donations to keep this going. Save this so you have it when you need it, and share it with someone who might.

We’re looking for an iPhone donation for the Q***r Food Bank.

Right now, a lot of our coordination happens across personal devices, and it’s getting harder to keep things organized and accessible for the team. Having a dedicated phone would make a big difference for things like communication, scheduling, and support.

If you have an older iPhone sitting in a drawer that you’re not using, we would love to give it a second life in the community.

• Any recent-ish model that still works well is great
• It doesn’t need to be perfect, just functional
• A charger would be helpful if you have one
