Huge shout out to Matthew from Mutual ONE Insurance Company for making the trip to present this generous donation to the 10,000 Meals Challenge Inc.

This donation gives us enough funds to make 1,000 pre-made subs and pizza burgers for kids who need a meal.

What a wonderful opportunity to be a part of. I am grateful that businesses see our mission as something worthy to support.

It is our hope as an organization that other businesses will follow suit and help support our program.

Matthew had mentioned that they have supported a lot of organizations who are doing amazing work to support our vulnerable populations. Thank you so much for your generosity.

I also want to give a shout out to Nova Era Bakery in east London for their constant support and allowing us to use their beautiful dining area for these pictures. Paula and her team do an amazing job of serving hungry customers with their delicious menu.

Their sit in area is absolutely warm and inviting and they have enough room to host large parties. If you haven’t tried their food and drinks, please make it a point to stop in.

I’m feeling grateful for all the wonderful contributions that many people make on a regular basis to help us continue our mission of providing 10,000 pre-made, fresh meals each year.

This evening we are receiving a significant donation from an insurance company (more details to follow) who have generously donated enough money to cover 1000 pre-made meals for kids in our community. (Picture to follow)

My hope is that other businesses will see the impact that this will have on our precious families who are struggling each day to feed their kids.

Please reach out if you want to know more about what we do and what your donation will be used for.

I can promise you this…your money will be prudently used to provide for our most vulnerable in our community.

If you have a business and would like to know more, please reach out via Messenger or email which is in the bio.

Thank you!

Ps. It’s not my favourite thing to do but we will do a picture for social media for your business to receive the recognition it deserves to show you are stepping up to help meet this urgent need.

Every Purchase Helps Feed a Child!

After giving thousands of pre-made meals a to families over the past 6 years, Pickup’s Pizza Burgers in conjunction with the 10,000 Meals Challenge Inc. will be holding Pop-Up Shops that will sell subs and pizza burgers to the public.

The 10,000 Meals Challenge Inc. is working to hold as many sub and pizza burger sales and Pop-Up Shops as possible throughout London.

We are currently looking for businesses, organizations, schools, churches and community locations in London that would be willing to host one of our sales.

The proceeds from every sub and pizza burger sold goes directly toward our program, helping us provide free, ready-made food to local families with school-aged children.

Some schools have good snack program but families can also struggle during busy supper hours when children are hungry and parents need something quick, convenient and ready to serve.

That’s where the 10,000 Meals Challenge Pop-Up Shops come in.

Through our Pop-Up Shops, families can receive free premade meals and food products with no judgment and no complicated application process.

Every purchase, donation, sponsorship and hosted sale helps us reach more families and move closer to our goal of providing 10,000 meals every year.

Interested in hosting a sub and pizza burger sale at your location? We would love to hear from you!

Thank you for supporting our mission and helping us ensure there is No Family Left Behind.
