Satisfy your toe-tapping loins and thirsty ears; music begins at 7:00pm and ends when a Scottish piper ruptures your eardrum.

What is a traditional Irish session? 🇮🇪

A traditional Irish session (or seisiún) is an informal gathering of musicians playing Irish traditional music together in a relaxed, often social setting like a pub or home. Musicians, usually seated in a circle, play jigs, reels, and other tunes on instruments such as fiddles, flutes, pipes, banjos, and concertinas. 🎶

We had a tune-tastic weekend sharing information about the Forest City Irish Fest, the Forest City Comhaltas, and the London Irish GAA Club. We met so many wonderful new people at Wortley's Gathering on the Green and London’s Multicultural Festival. Thank you to everyone who was a part of this action-packed weekend!

Swing-a-ling down to the Covent Garden Market on Sunday and visit the Forest City Comhaltas at the London Multicultural Festival.

We will have an interactive info table set up from 11:00am-7:00pm, and members from the Comhaltas will be performing on the main stage from 2:00-2:30pm! 🎶 🎻

This is your chance to get a glimpse of what the Forest City Comhaltas is all about before you become an offical member in September! 🎉
