Congratulations to Asontea 🎊 on winning 2nd Place in the Bayanihan Club's All Around Fanshawe contest! Her entry wonderful highlighted how campus spaces signify the start to new journeys and beginnings.
•
Asontea's photo 📸 was taken in the main entrance lobby at Fanshawe's B Building with a lovely caption that follows:

"BEGINS – I use the caption BEGINS because it is where my journey begins. As an International student, I always on B building while waiting for the bus to go home. This was taken last February 4 at 3:51pm. I always believed that journey will always and start once I go home. All the chores, responsibility and tasks as a student will always begin at our home".

Congratulations to Sage 🎉 on winning 1st Place in the Bayanihan Club's All Around Fanshawe contest! Sage's entry beautifully highlighted how campus spaces play a huge part on shaping friendships and memories.
•
Sage's photo 📸 was taken in the study area near Starbucks at Fanshawe's H Building with a wholesome caption that follows:

"This spot is special to me because it is where me and my roommate have studied and bonded together on several occasions. Being first year students, we were unsure of comfortable study locations prior to attending classes.

The Starbucks in the H building caught my attention upon first glance, courtesy to the large and bright windows. This space has become an area to meet up, grab a drink, and continue studying or take a break.

It has truly become an important space on campus for both me and my roommate, as well as many others, allowing us to become better friends and dedicated students".

We now it's cold outside 🧊 but who couldn't resist this sweet fiesta! Here is the Halo-Halo, a popular dessert and snack in the Philippines. The name translates to mix-mix, since you combine all the ingredients together.
•
Halo-Halo is made up of crushed ice for the base, drizzled evaporated milk, and a bunch of tasty toppings. Varieties include ube halaya, sweetened kidney beans, sago, plantain with syrup, gulaman, leche flan, and ice cream. 🍨
•
Other ingredients include coconut shavings, a wafer stick, boiled taro, pinipig, fruit preserves, mung beans, nata de coco, jackfruit, and tapioca pearls. Yes! That's how much food items are in this one dessert. Give it a try now! 🤤
