Come and get your Classic Cookies!

7th Lethbridge Guides will be selling their Classic Chocolate and Vanilla Sandwich Cookies in a good old cookie drive-thru next week! We will be outside the Children of St. Martha's Elementary School on Tuesday, May 5th from 6-7:30pm with signs to point you in the right direction.

How does it work? Well, all you have to do is drive up to our cookie station, and we'll do the rest! You don't even have to get out of your car. We'll grab your payment (cash or card), give you your cookies, and send you on your way! Talk about convenient!

As always, the proceeds from cookie sales support all our unit activities, but this year we are also saving up for our annual camping trip that's coming up.

Please come out and support our Guides! Even if you can't afford a box, or can't eat the cookies, a little honk or two as you go by would really raise their spirits.

As our 100 Years of Thinking Day craft kits continue to be distributed to Contact Guider volunteers, don't miss this incredibly skilled tutorial created by one of our ANY Youth Forum members, Ada!

While our kits could be used to create friendship bracelets or keychains, Ada flexed her innovative muscles and created a water bottle counter tutorial using the same materials. This creation helps you to remember to drink more water throughout the day!

World Thinking Day is a Guiding holiday that falls on February 22nd each year. It also happens to be the joint birthday of our founders, Lord and Lady Baden-Powell. On World Thinking Day, we take time to reflect on the history of guiding, advocate for global issues, and celebrate international friendship. 🌎

This year is very special, because we will be marking 100 years of World Thinking Day! To celebrate, our Guides have started penpaling with the 48th Royston Guides in South Yorkshire - and this is what they sent us!

In return, our guides will respond to the UK Guides with letters, some information about Canadian guiding history, and goodies of our own. 💓
