Our ultimate goal is to be able to provide a wheelchair swing or playground equipment at a school or park in our community. The Bridal Brigade started in 2015 when Malinda, the bride, got engaged. That’s when the fun began, because as a bridal party, there were many events to organize to help the bride plan her special day. During the 2 years of planning the wedding, we became good friends with ea
ch other. After the wedding, it was suggested we continue meeting to build on the friendships that were formed during this time. Our lunches, dinners, fun events have evolved into us wanting to do more, however we didn’t know where to go or what that looked like. When GIVING BACK EXPERIENCES approached us to do fundraising with them, we jumped on board. Our focus is to raise funds for children with special needs because our lives have been personally touched one way or another by having a family member with disabilities. Our ultimate goal is to be able to provide a wheelchair swing at a school or park in our community. At this point, we are working on smaller projects too, in order to still raise funds for children with special needs. The purpose of this page is to build a community of supporters. Many of you have already helped with our fundraising efforts, and for that we thank you.
