We have two exciting trips coming up! Check out all the details below and make sure to grab your spot before the deadlines.

🎭 Trip 1: Jubilations Diner Theatre (Edmonton)
Trip Date: Sunday, August 9

The Show: Golden Girls

Sign-up Deadline: Wednesday, July 8 at 4pm

Bus Leaves: 1:00pm (Supper included, show starts at 5:15 PM)

Ticket Cost: * Ages 50–60: $90

Ages 60+: $80

Note: Minimum of 12 riders required!

🎸 Trip 2: Local Music Trip (Bold Centre)
Trip Date: Sunday, August 16

The Show: A Tribute to George Strait with Gil Grand

Sign-up Deadline: Wednesday, July 15 at 4:00pm

Doors Open: 6:30pm and Show Starts: 7:30pm

Ticket Cost: $51

✨ Special Discount for the Heritage Centre: Must be OVER 60 for the discount!

Upon sign-up, the following fees are required to be paid:

Bus Fees (see poster)

Commitment Deposit: $20 (All riders required to pay; this will be refunded to those who attend the trip).

Ticket Costs: Will be collected after the deadlines once tickets are officially purchased.

To give our incredible kitchen volunteers a well-deserved summer break, we will only be hosting one lunch per month for July and August.

Mark your calendars for these two amazing meals:

Menu: Perogies, Sausages, and Lazy Cabbage Rolls 🥟
Dessert: Rice Pudding 🥄
Price: $15
Addition:50/50 Raffle Draw and "The Lake Man" 1/2hr Local Documentary to follow at 1pm

🗓️ Wednesday, August 19
Menu: Build-Your-Own Indian Tacos in Donna's Bannock Taco Bowls! 🌮
Dessert: Sundae Dessert Bar 🍦
Price: $10
Addition: Fun games, 50/50 Raffle Draw

🥛❌ Dietary Note: We will have a delicious dairy-free dessert option available for both lunches!

Everyone is welcome—both members and non-members! Come hungry and enjoy a great meal with the community. Doors open at 11:30am, lunch is served at 12:00pm (drinks included!). ☕️

BINGO! 🎉 Did you see the amazing handmade Bingo Bags our crafters made? They are now for sale at our weekly games and are absolutely adorable! 👜❤️

Our next bingo is Tuesday, June 16th, and everyone is welcome (members and non-members alike!).

🍰 5th Annual Bake Auction Success! 🥧✨

Wow! We are absolutely thrilled to share the results from our Bake Auction held on June 3rd. Thanks to our incredible community, we raised a grand total of $2,096.50! 💰🎉

A massive shoutout to our 14 participant bakers who filled the tables with 121 tasty entries! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

We held a friendly little contest, and our top contributors for 2026 were officially announced at yesterday's meeting:
🥇 1st Place: Annemarie Diachinsky — $397.50
🥈 2nd Place: Aurel Langevin — $308.00
🥉 3rd Place: Alice Thompson — $232.50
🏅 4th Place: Barb Nunns — $225.00
🌟 5th Place (MVP): Stacey St Jean — $185.50

🤝 Team Player Award: A special thank you goes out to Annette VanDorland for stepping into a helper role without even being scheduled to work, giving Alice a much-needed hand. You embody the true spirit of our community!
