With an abundance of caution, Northern College is announcing a limited opening (reduced on-campus activities and access) for Monday, March 16, 2026 at the Timmins, Kirkland Lake and Haileybury Campuses due to inclement weather.

Moosonee Campus is unaffected by the storm, and will be fully open.

A limited opening means that for the safety of staff and students, there would be no requirement to attend campus except for those designated as essential to the safety of campus operations. All students and staff are free to attend should they choose. Those who can work remotely are expected to do so.

Students, please connected with your professors for amended class schedules.

Stay safe!
