Bayshore Estates Community – New Online Hub!

To help keep everyone connected and make sharing updates easier, we’ve created two spaces for our neighbourhood:

1️⃣ A page
A central spot for announcements and events.
👉 Follow the page to stay up to date on community events, seasonal reminders, and shared information.

2️⃣ A Facebook Group
A space for neighbour-to-neighbour connection.
👉 Join the group to chat with neighbours, ask questions, share local recommendations, post items for sale or giveaway, coordinate events, and more (you should've received an invite to join "Bayshore Estates Chat Board".

These two spaces work together:
• The Page = announcements, events, and public info.
• The Group = discussion, connection, and neighbour collaboration.

We know not everyone uses Facebook, but as the community grows online, we’re hoping word-of-mouth will continue to help share key updates more widely.

If you live in Bayshore Estates, please consider following the page and joining the group — the more people involved, the stronger our community connections become. 🌿

Time for a spring purge!

A few homes are planning a garage sale on May 9th from 8am onward - so why not turn it into a Bayshore Estates Mega sale? The more homes we have, the more shoppers we'll attract.

👉Want to join in?
If yes, comment below by May 1st with:
- Your address
- Any "hot items" or fun hooks (tools, reno items, kids' gear, clothing, furniture, lemonade stands, plants, etc.)
- any other ideas/considerations

We'll create a shared ad that everyone can send out to friends, family, local groups, and social media to draw a big crowd.

What an amazing turnout for today's Egg hunt! Hot chocolate, cappuccinos, tea, and impromptu games of volleyball, soccer, ax throwing and connect 4 kept the park buzzing long after the hunt ended.

It was great to see so many new connections being made and to hear ideas for future events. Some of the ideas included a Bayshore park yard sale, outdoor movie night, spring neighbourhood clean-up, sports games, yoga in the park and more. A HUGE thank you to everyone who put out eggs, came out to chat and made this a great event.

Feel free to use this platform to create an event or start a discussion anytime - let's keep the energy going and the outdoors alive!

Drizzle is expected to clear up by 11 --> just in time for our first Bayshore Estates Egg Hunt which starts at the park! We've got 19 homes participating and the map below gives you a general sense of where to go. Keep an eye out for balloons marking each home (and driveway messages if the weather cooperates!). Join us afterward for hot chocolate in the park beside 600 Rankin Crst around noon. Bring your own mug if you can - we'll have disposables on hand too! Happy hopping - see you around the neighbourhood!
