🍂 Grow Together This Fall at KCFRC! 🍂

This fall, the Kings County Family Resource Centre is looking to hear from parents and caregivers who may be interested in joining one of our upcoming supportive programs.

💙 Circle of Security®
Explore your child’s emotional world, strengthen your parent-child relationship, and learn ways to support your child’s emotional needs, self-esteem, and sense of security.

💛 Nobody’s Perfect
A community-based program for parents of children from birth to age 6. Connect with other parents, build parenting skills, explore positive parenting, and learn about helpful community resources.

💚 AMPed Up!
A supportive 7-week adult program focused on anger management, stress management, communication skills, understanding emotions, recognizing triggers, and developing healthy coping strategies.

✨ We’re gathering interest now so we can plan our fall programming!

A big shout-out to the amazing members of the Leadership Camp at New Minas Baptist Church!

These 22 Grade 6–8 students, along with their 4 leaders, spent the week learning what it means to be leaders in their community. Each day, they visited a different organization to learn, lend a hand, and serve in a meaningful way.

And what a great bunch of kids they were! At our Food Bank they packed boxes, filled After the Bell bags, bagged potatoes and cat food, filled egg cartons, and even filled all 9 Pick-Up orders for Wednesday night!

Thank you for choosing to serve and for bringing such great energy and enthusiasm to everything you did. We were so happy to have you with us! You should all be very proud of the difference you made.
