Registration opportunity! Hey folks - we have had a cancellation in WEEK TWO of KLKP - one for the Piano class and one for the Banjo class. These folks had a camping space, so we have one open at the moment. IF you know of someone who was itching to come in those instruments - please e-mail

Daniel and Karrnnel will be playing these school shows today in:

10am: Whitewood
2pm Kennedy

Schools are usually amenable to the community coming in for the performances, and you can share the FUN of what these amazing guys bring to the students!

And then the S.E. Tour concludes as they head onwards! It's been a great week.

Well.. holy gale-force winds, Batman! If your plans for today have been cancelled because of this crazy S.E, Sk weather, consider coming out to this great concert and enjoying some comismerating fellowship and we can all complain about the weather together!

And enjoy some Great tunes and stories with fabulous people!!

Karrnnel and Daniel had a great time in Lampman school - and looks like the energy BOOST at this time of year was a real thing! Such enthusiasm and so many smiling faces!

Can't wait to do it again at White Bear School Thursday morning at 11am and then at Wawota school at 2:00!

KLKP has sponsored a tour of local schools - and Daniel and Karrnnel are cruising around the S.E. Corner, bringing joy, music, dance and stories to local small schools!

If you're nearby and want to pop in, most schools are open to that idea!

Yesterday, they played music at the Pheasant Rump school, and then cruised over to Manor where they got the kids up dancing. And the no-so-young "kids" too!

This morning they were at Lampman school where young Caydence Siebert joined them for a tune, and at 2pm are playing at Stoughton School, ( joined by some local players - Violet Cacilhas, McKayla Gentes, and Emily Goudy, Spencer Turk and Sarah Kimball!

Thursday, they are cruising to White Bear school to hold some workshops with students and to have a little show for the community at 11am , and then up to Wawota for a 2pm show.

Of course, Thursday night is a great concert in Carlyle at 7pm ( remember, all KLKP concerts have a free kids option as well as our "no person turned away because of finances" and KLKP will sponsor your ticket if you WANT to come and cannot afford the full fee!

Friday takes them up to Whitewood at 10am and then ending the week in Kennedy school at 2pm.

What a fun week of fellowship! HOpe to see you out at one of those spots!

We'd love some help spreading the word about this great concert! If you would be willing to print off a poster or two and hang in your community to help us out, we'd love that!

Or if you're someone who really knows how fabulous this duo is, could you let your friends know.. maybe invite some out - often folks just need that personal connection and then they'll get to share in something that we love.

We are on our final push to fill the theatre - and between Ball, soccer and seeding ( and we're glad our neighbours are able to get into the fields early) we know it's a complicated time.

But bring the kids ( they are free) invite a neighbour who might need some fellowship, pick up a few elders and drive them out for a wonderful evening ( the elevator works and the chairs are comfy!)

Daniel and Karrnel are playing at Pheasant Rump school this morning ( as soon as Karrnnel's plane lands and they can get there) and then at Manor school at 2:15.

Later tonight they are teaching fiddle and banjo workshops in Forget.. so it's a busy busy day!

Fundraising opportunity:

At the Inn Echo concert in Carlyle in February, the Flatland Fiddling Studio were present for a workshop with the artists, and then they provided an intermission snack/ coffee break as a donation to their travel/education fund. They raised $600 that evening- and also got to perform for the opening act of the show!

KLKP believes in helping out young up and coming organizations this way.

Might you have a group who is fundraising for something right now and would you like to do the same at our upcoming concert on May 14th in Carlyle at the theatre?

What's involved? Tell us what you are fundraising for... bonus if your are raising funds for events which benefit youth, elders or our indigenous neighbours. Then your gang brings ... whatever you like... makes coffee... for the intermission, and once people know what your cause is, they are usually very generous in their donations.

Also- you get to attend a fabulous show! What else can go right?
