THUMPER
1 year old female cat
Thumper is a beautiful medium-haired young cat with a gentle heart and a sweet, sensitive nature. Now that she's finished raising a family of her own, she's ready to find a loving home where she can simply enjoy being a young cat.

A little shy at first, Thumper blossoms with patience and kindness. She enjoys being brushed, receiving gentle affection, and spending time with people she trusts. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality shines through.

Thumper has lived with other cats and may enjoy a calm feline companion. She has also been exposed to small dogs and could do well with another gentle pet following a slow introduction.
Her ideal home is a quiet one with patient, cat-savvy adopters. She would likely do best in an adult-only home or one with calm, older children who understand and respect feline boundaries.

Meet Jamie, a beautiful house panther with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. Sadly, her beloved owner recently entered long-term care and Jamie was unable to go with them. Now, she is looking for a peaceful new home where she can relax, be cherished, and enjoy the companionship she misses so much.

Jamie is a sweet, quiet girl who would love a calm environment and a family to call her own. She's a devoted Canucks fan, but with the FIFA World Cup underway, she'll happily tolerate a soccer match or two if it means curling up next to a warm lap.

Jamie is spayed, vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped, and litter box trained.

❤ Today at OHS...we are happy to share the news that "Mavis" aka "Bella" has successfully undergone surgical repair of her torn cruciate ligament at vet partner last week. We are so very thankful to Dr. Veenis and the team for performing the procedure for Mavis so she can begin her road to recovery out of pain.

Thank you OHS community. Because of your support we were able to say "yes" to Mavis! Let's all send healing vibes to this resilient girl!

⭐ Shining Star Sunday⭐
This week, we're celebrating two incredible OHS volunteers, Lois and Jack whose good deeds are countless.

From fostering animals in need, serving on the OHS Board of Directors, transporting precious furry cargo to and from veterinary clinics, animal control facilities, foster homes, and adoption centres across the Central and South Okanagan, to helping at adoption events and picking up much-needed donations, they are always ready to lend a hand wherever they're needed.

Their dedication, compassion, and countless volunteer hours help make lifesaving work possible for local animals every single day.
