Both years have brought together the most amazing people — runners, volunteers, spectators, and everyone who makes this event so special. 🫶

It’s the energy, the community, the encouragement, and the connections that make the Kaslo Wild Ultra so unforgettable. And did we mention the COURSE?! 🤩 Almost entirely single-track, with views that are hard to beat. 🙌🌲

Has it really been a week already!?

The 2026 KWU runners were unstoppable, fierce, and unbelievably positive. We hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and enjoyed our little piece of Kootenay paradise.

What. A. Weekend. 🤩🌲

It was hot, tough, and wild—and we wouldn't have had it any other way!

Our volunteers were absolutely incredible, our runners were endlessly inspiring, and our hearts are so full after an unforgettable weekend together.

Thanks to everyone who took part in this year's Kaslo Wild Ultra, we're able to give back to the Wildwood Discovery Society and support our local trail organizations, helping our little village thrive!

A huge shoutout to Corby Martin for spending the weekend out on the trails capturing all the action. We can't wait to share the incredible photos with you—they'll be available in the next couple of days, so stay tuned! 📸

Thank you to every runner, volunteer, sponsor, supporter, photographer, and spectator who made this event possible. This year's Kaslo Wild Ultra was truly one for the books! 💚

It's a perfect day for a 53 km run up Mount Buchanan!! In a few short hours our runners will be crossing the beautiful Kaslo Wild Ultra finish line 🎊☀️
