Ugly Sweaters Matter!

On Dec 13th, BGC Kamloops will host Brennan's Ugly Sweater Run, presented by RBC Dominion Securities. The money raised goes directly to more than 20 low- to no-cost programs for children, youth, and local families.

For $25, your ticket helps sustain a vital "third place"—a safe, inclusive environment outside of home and school where kids truly belong. Learn more about the event at: https://www.bgckamloops.com/busr

🚨Program Spotlight!

This week, we're featuring another one of our longest-running programs, Power Start! Every school morning during the school year, we pick up children from their homes, bring them to the Club, feed them breakfast, and help them prepare for school. After breakfast, we provide a recess snack and transport them to school, ready to start their day.

The Club will be closed on Monday, October 12, for Thanksgiving. We hope you have a safe and happy long weekend.

🚨Program Spotlight!
Each week, we will feature one of our programs and share some fun facts too.

This week, we are talking about our First Steps program, which is offered in partnership with SD 73, Interior Community Services, and the Ministry of Children and Family Development. This educational program for young mothers provides academic upgrading, parenting and life skills classes, and career and education planning. We provide childcare so the mothers can focus on their classes.

This is one of our longest-running programs!
