Help support a great cause today!

Good morning!

Although the weather is not looking as perfect our field of sunflowers, we are eager to open our doors to our Sips for the Sunflowers event today from 1-6.
We are so excited to see our community come together today to enjoy an afternoon of walking in the field and or enjoying the view from our shop (there are plenty of windows to enjoy the view from) of the sea of yellow. We have several added features to the field for this special day.
This is a rain or shine event. Bring umbrellas if you desire, enjoy a refreshment in our covered shop or simply pop over to say hi and connect with our wonderful community. We have a bouncy castle, face painting, tattoos, a small snack booth and of course our two local small businesses bringing their beer and spirits. Hospice representatives will be on site as well. We can’t wait to see you all!

Late summer heat can turn dry lawns, mulch, and yard debris into fast-burning fuel and even small sparks can cause major problems. Carelessly tossed smoking materials are still one of the top causes of preventable outdoor fires.

Before you walk away, take a moment to do it right:
✔ fully put it out (no smoke, no heat!)
✔ use a proper ashtray
✔ keep cigarette butts out of gardens, planters and landscaping

Let’s keep things glowing for the right reasons, with sunshine instead of fires.
