On Wednesday after a morning of pet therapy, Watson decided it was time for a swim. After all it’s hard work looking cute and receiving all those treats and hugs.

My favourite picture of our sweet Lily.
We lost her. Her fragile body had enough.

Lily came to us in May 2023. She had been a stray and diabetic. She had always been sensitive to the insulin and we tried different brands. We took her to a specialist last year who put her on another brand which appeared to help. Lily was a trouper through it all.

When Lily first landed here she found her ‘space’ on a bench in the mudroom. We purchased a bed with bee🐝 fabric for her which she used to date. It is now an empty spot. Lily will be so missed.

Lily was rushed to our vet today with what I think was a diabetic seizure. Please keep her in your thoughts.

Abby has been scratching a lot lately so we came up with a program to help with allergies.

Blood results are in on Kayla. She has Lyme disease. We are starting her on a course of antibiotics for a month and hopefully she is feeling better soon. Kayla came to us in April 2025 and even though we put her on tick medication…… it happens.
On the bright side, Kayla’s other blood values are good.
