With the return of precipitation across the region, effective at 9 a.m., June 30, 2026, County Regional Fire Service will be lifting the Fire Advisory that was put in place on June 5, 2026 for the entire County, along with the towns of Beaverlodge, Sexsmith and Wembley. Hythe Firefighters Association Annual General Meeting (AGM) 📢

During Fire Prevention Week, students in Grades 1, 3, and 6 at HRS were given the opportunity to win their class a pizza party by creating a Home Fire Escape Plan.

Teaching fire safety and emergency preparedness is an important part of what we do, and we were proud to share our knowledge to help keep families and our community safe.

Congratulations to the Grade 3/4 class for their winning Home Fire Escape Plan! 🍕🚒 We hope everyone learned valuable fire safety skills that they can take home and share with their families.
