Beautiful sunshine and a snowy landscape made for a perfect start to our spring session 🌞❄️
We spent the day exploring the shoreline, cracking ice, and noticing the first signs of spring—especially the running of sap and how it becomes maple syrup. During snack, we shared a traditional Kanyen’keha’:ka (Mohawk) story and enjoyed a sweet seasonal treat: maple syrup poured over fresh snow 🌲
From warming up on sunlit rocks to playing games, exploring the water’s edge, and adventuring along the stream, the children embraced every moment of the changing season.
A joyful, curious, and energizing day in the forest—spring is on its way 🌱
