🚧 Skills Park Revamp Update! 🚧

The complete revamp of the Skills Park at the Hinton Bike Park is coming along GREAT! 🙌🚵

The Heavyhitters a.k.a. Hoots Crew crew has been working hard to get everything dialed in and ready for everyone to enjoy ~ and the progress is looking amazing! 🤩

A huge thank you to the Hoots Inc. crew for all their hard work, and to everyone for your patience while this section of the Bike Park remains closed.

We can’t wait to see the finished product! 🔥

🚵‍♀️ Wednesday Night Group Ride — August 26!

Join HMBA Executive Director Sean for a few laps around the Hinton Bike Park!

Hoots Inc. will have just wrapped up some Bike Park maintenance, so this is the perfect chance to get out and ride some FRESH features! 🙌

We’ll be checking out Flow Master, Lava Chicken, and maybe even Trans Mountain Sender… if you dare! 😈🤘

With plenty of flow and options for different abilities, there’ll be something for all skill levels.

Bike Park Update ⚠️

The Hinton Bike Park parking lot will be closed today so that work trucks may safely shuttle supplies for upcoming enhancements ⛔️

Please note that our Bike Park is still OPEN - we just ask riders to park at the nearby Disc Golf parking lot and respect all posted closures ✅

Join our volunteer Ride Leader Ryan this evening for a member ride where all skill levels are welcome 🚴‍♂️

What: “The Outer Loop” (15-20km of single-track cross country trails) 🟢🟦

When: 7pm @ Hinton Bike Park ⏰

Where: Hinton Mountain Bike Park to the outer trail loops and back. EZ to Lookout, Ranger, Phill’s Thriller, Bubba’s and back 📍*Options for shorter ride loops back if needed 🧭

Could be one of the nicest evenings for a ride this year ☀️

Bike Park update ⚠️

1. Hoots Inc has been conducting annual maintenance throughout our Bike Park. Most trails are already looking refreshed - but please continue to respect closures and posted signage 🛑

2. There is a boardwalk closure connecting our Bike Park with the Town trail extending north parallel to Robb Rd. Detour routes are available nearby ⛔️

3. The Bike Park ‘Skills Area’ and parking lot area will be undergoing enhancements. We are expecting a closure of our Skills Area until approximately August 31st (weather permitting). We have 2 phases of development planned and are excited to refresh this area of our Bike Park 🤟

Hinton Sprockids is starting up this September 15th and they are looking for coaches of all levels! Please fill out the form below if interested or reach out to [email protected] for more info!

This signup is for adults/older teens interested in coaching or being a sweep for the Sprockids Fall 2026 session. Start date is September 15th/17th and it will run 4 weeks. Last week being October 6th/8th.

🌲 A Big Thank You to the Government of Alberta! 🌲

A huge thank you to the folks at GoA (Government of Alberta) for arranging for a certified danger tree faller to come out to the Hinton Bike Park and safely remove several hazard trees. 🙌🌲

Taking care of these trees helps keep the Bike Park safe and enjoyable for everyone who rides, walks and spends time on the trails.

We really appreciate the support and collaboration that goes into looking after our local trail network. Thank you to everyone involved in getting this work completed! 🚵‍♀️🌲
