Big things are happening at the bike park! 🚧🔥 is in town working hard on our newest trail ~ Lava Chicken!

This trail is currently CLOSED and is still under construction, despite the fact that someone decided to take a rip down it last weekend and leave behind the trail’s first set of ruts 😞

We’re hoping to have Lava Chicken open for riding later this year, and it’s being built as a beginner-friendly flow trail for riders to progress and have fun on.

Please respect all trail closures. Riding closed trails causes damage that costs valuable time and money to repair ~ resources we would much rather put toward building more trails and making upgrades for the mountain bike community.

🚵‍♀️ Women’s Beginner MTB Clinic 🚵‍♀️

Interested in joining the Monday night ladies rides or wanting to keep up with your kids through the bike park this summer? This clinic is for you!

📅 June 4, 2026
⏰ 7:00pm – 9:00pm
📍 Hinton Bike Park

This beginner-friendly session will cover:
✔️ Body position on the bike
✔️ Climbing techniques
✔️ Braking skills

The clinic will be led by Casey McKay, a certified Level 1 Mountain Bike Coach.

💥 Free with an HMBA Membership ($35/year)🔗 https://www.bikehinton.com/membership

Please RSVP to [email protected] so we can get an idea of numbers ~ but if you decide last minute, just show up and ride!

The Big Horn Trail Network remains CLOSED due to wet and soft trail conditions. Please help protect the trails by staying off until conditions improve.

Our anticipated opening date is June 1st, but this may change depending on weather and trail conditions.

We know everyone is eager to ride, but a little patience now helps prevent long-term trail damage and keeps the network in great shape for the season ahead.

🚲 Ride dirt, not mud.
