Today-July 22 till end of day July 25 the cattle will be going into pole haven. We ask that everyone stay off the trails at this time and allow space for the cattle to be moved to their fields. Thank you.

Like so many Albertans, Conservation Officers are also out on our public lands travelling in off-highway vehicles (OHV). Officers want to remind you before you ride your OHV on Alberta public lands:

- Be safe – wear a helmet and never ride impaired.
- Stay on designated or established trails.
- When riding, your OHV must be registered, insured, and plated and you must carry proof of this information.
- Keep your Wheels out of Water

This post is for anybody that is ambitious. There are some trees across the trail that could be cut out if anyone is bored and wants to take care of that. They are in the Southwest portion of the north loop. if you are not up to that, that is fine, but just be aware of those obstacles.

Although the Pole Haven trail system officially open (June 1), we respectfully request that people stay off them till we dry up. There is still work that needs to be done to improve trails and using them while wet only further degrades their condition.

Also please obey all the rules once it’s dry enough. Book a time through CLAS, log in and out. Enter only through designated staging area, stay on the trails and be safe!!

June is off-road safety awareness month. As trails open, be aware of the dangers ever present when operating an off-road vehicle.
