The first night of Hay Lakes Flag Football is in the books! Thanks to everyone who came out, it was lots of fun. A special thanks to Cory Zetsen who brought freezies, it was a great way to finish off on such a hot day.

We'll plan for the same time next week. If anyone else is interested, don't hesitate to reach out!

I'll be sure to bring waivers for anyone that hasn't signed, as well as some water, sunscreen and bugspray. I strongly encourage kids bring their own, but I will have some just in case.

Hey everyone,

After looking at the survey results, the preferred evening is Tuesday, with times at 6 or later.

That being said, this summer has been pretty wild when it comes to the weather. In the case that we can't go for a Tuesday, I will try to make it work on the Wednesday or Thursday. Tentatively, our first night will be July 28 at 6:15.

Just a reminder, this is going to be very drop-in/recreational. If you can't make a week, don't fret!

I've been asked about older kids. Luckily, Flag doesn't require a large field, and it would be possible to setup additional areas. While I can't commit to supervising another group, I'd be happy to offer the equipment required. I have a bunch of balls, flags, and field markers that would make it so the older group could hang out and try some drills/warmup, and then go set themselves up a scrimmage. If you have older kids interested, just reach out so I can have a rough idea on numbers.

Thanks again for all the interest! Keep your eyes out for a waiver, I'll send that over sometime today. I'm getting excited to start things off in just under a month! -Jacob
