If you haven’t picked up a copy of the Virden Empire Advance this week, I encourage you to give it a read.
The Health Auxiliary is made up of a dedicated group of volunteers who work tirelessly to support our local and surrounding healthcare facilities. Over the years, they’ve raised significant funds for essential medical equipment and furnishings that directly improve patient care in our community.
That’s why it’s so disheartening to hear about the persistent roadblocks they continue to face from Prairie Mountain Health Authority and Shared Health Manitoba. Two of their most recent major purchases are no exception to these frustrating delays. These volunteers are doing everything they can to help, yet instead of support, they’re too often met with resistance.
It’s time their efforts were seen through to fruition—not hindered.
