Part One: what’s not working?

Experiments are always good even when you don’t get the result you were hoping for.

Our attempt to create a rhythm of events doesn’t appear to be working, so we’d like your feedback on what you do like.

As a volunteer lead organization, we only have so many hours available so we want to make sure we’re creating the biggest impact for the Pilgrim community here in the Hamilton and Horseshoe region

Events this week:

May 27 6:30pm Injury prevention and Management for long distance walking. Aldershot Arena.

This educational session is an in depth look at the common types of injuries we are susceptible to with long distance walking. We have a certified trainer and an Athletic therapist who will also do some demonstrations and give general guidance on a) how to prepare your body so you don't get injured and b) some options to consider if you do get injured.

As a bonus, David McKinty has also taught splinting courses at McMaster...including how to best use that ubiquitous K-Tape we see all over people's legs halfway through the Camino :)

We have about ten spots left for registration.

May 31 1-2pm MEC Camino series: Basic pilgrimage routes overview for people considering where they may want to go next.
If you have a particular route you are interested in (and plan to attend) drop a note below!
