Sometimes the best summer memories aren't the big vacations or expensive plans. They're the evenings spent eating good food, playing games, dancing, laughing, and simply enjoying great company.

That's exactly what we're creating.

For anyone who's ever looked at a puppy raiser and thought, "I could never do that..."

Trust me, I've said the exact same thing.

Almost 7 months into this journey with Rufus, I finally felt ready to share our story. I wrote about why we chose to become a puppy raising family with Autism Dog Services , what puppy raising actually looks like behind the scenes, and how this little Black Lab has had a much bigger impact on our family, and on Unique Optimism, than I ever expected.

I love writing, and every once in a while there's a story that I can't wait to tell. This was one of them.
