Congratulations to the Valley Jets on their successful bid to host the U13AAA Provincial Championships! 🏆

🎉 Congratulations to our very own TASA Ducks on claiming victory at the Edd McNeill Memorial Tournament! 🏆🦆

The Ducks came out flying in the first period, with Silas Keddy opening the scoring at the 7:15 mark off some great playmaking by Hayden Gouchie and Grant Johnson.

The second period saw both teams go toe-to-toe, battling hard through penalty kills and power plays, but neither squad could break the deadlock.

Early in the third, the Lynx tied things up 1–1 — but the Ducks answered right back. Silas Keddy struck again, assisted by Jett Doucet, to restore the lead at 2–1. To seal the deal, Zach Connors, with help from Roenick Quinn, buried the insurance marker for a 3–1 final.

Between the pipes, Rory McDonald stood tall and came up big whenever called upon. 🧱🥅

👏 A huge congratulations to our Ducks on a hard-fought and well-earned championship win!

As we head into Championship Sunday of the Cape Cup, we’d like to congratulate all teams on a great showing so far.

We’re down to the Semi-Finals, and here’s how the day is shaping up:

🏒 9:00 AM — Crushers vs Hawks
🏒 10:30 AM — Islanders vs Wings

The winners of each matchup will advance to the Championship Final at 1:30 PM, where they’ll battle it out for the Cape Cup.

Cape Cup Weekend in Cape Breton! 🏒

We’re excited to announce that Hockey Nova Scotia U13 AAA teams will be coming together in Cape Breton for the 2024 Cape Cup, running November 20–23!

This year, we’re proud to partner with the Cape Breton Eagles, giving players and families access to some incredible opportunities throughout the weekend, including:

• Attending a Screaming Eagles home game
• Viewing a game-day skate
• Special events and fun activities for players and families

🎟 Admission
• $20 weekend pass
• $5 per game
• Kids 12 & under: FREE
Please note: Cash only at the door.

🎫 50/50 Draws
• $2 per ticket
• 3 for $5

🎟 Raffle Tickets
• Hockey stick & mini stick rack draws
• $5 each or 3 for $10

We can’t wait to bring all teams together for an amazing weekend of competition, community, and Cape Breton hockey spirit.
