Rise Up Singing is back this fall! These Sunday morning sing-alongs have been a special time to share coffee and treats with friends, and sing our hearts out together. All ages and abilities welcome. We are back to the Annex on Oct. 18, Nov. 15, and Dec. 20 for a winter solstice sing. 10 am - noon, FREE.
(donations in the form of cash or non-perishable food items for the food bank are accepted)

💙 Open to faith based and community choir directors,organists, pianists, as well as singers of all experience levels. Spend the morning developing your skills, learning practical approaches to singing, leadership and exploring music you may not have encountered before.

The provincial government is headed back to its budget deliberations for the upcoming year, and we need your voice urgently! It will be so important for our arts and culture sector to participate both in person and online in budget consultations being offered, and the Nova Scotia Arts Coalition has info and tools created for you to feel confident to do so.

And that’s a wrap on NYSC TOUR #1! Thank you for sharing it with us, and for a full house at the Strug! Happy 35 years of NSYC indeed! Thank you to our village, and every single person who bas supported these singers and this program in all the ways - we are all so grateful. Special hats off to Fran, Sheila, Adam and Ria, our guests artists and the whole NSYC volunteer team. We are so thrilled to not have to say goodbye here, but see you all again in October! October 23 at the NSMEA conference, and in Wolfville 7:30. October 24 1:30 in Yarmouth and 7:30 in Bridgewater! Tickets on sale soon! Grab them up! Until then! 💙🎶
