What a wonderful day at Nova Horizons!Yesterday we welcomed new families from Sudan and Syria, new volunteers, helped lots of newcomers find the items they needed to build a new home and welcomed our new Volunteer Coordinators to the team!

Svitlana Garmel and Mohamed Mahgoub have been hired in part-time, term positions and will work together to build a culturally diverse volunteer team! On Saturday we had some fun getting to know each other, the organization and the exciting opportunities ahead!

This project is made possible because of funding through the Equity Project lead by ARAISA, in collaboration with NBMC and funded by IRCC.
