Eating disorders don't have a "look." They impact people of all genders, ages, races, body sizes, and backgrounds, and they are serious but treatable illnesses.

This World Eating Disorders Action Day, we're joining advocates around the world to challenge stigma, promote early intervention, and call for greater access to evidence-based care.

Whether you're a family member, friend, teacher, coach, healthcare provider, or someone with lived experience, you have a role to play.

Together, we can create a world where everyone impacted by an eating disorder can access the support they deserve.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Part One of The History of Western Body Ideals on Monday evening. We’re already looking forward to continuing the conversation in Part Two!

In this free virtual workshop, Heather Leblanc, MSW, RSW, will explore how body ideals evolved from the Roaring 20s to the present day and how media, culture, politics, and systems of power continue to shape the way we see ourselves and others.

Together, we’ll unpack the connections between body ideals, diet culture, racism, sexism, and anti-fat bias, while exploring how understanding this history can support healing and challenge harmful narratives.

Missed Part One? You’re still very welcome to join us for Part Two.
