As I reflect on the Halifax Motorcycle Show, I’m reminded that it truly takes a village.

Over the past four years, this event has raised nearly $24,000 for children’s charities in Halifax—and that only happened because so many people came together to make a difference.

To our sponsors, vendors, volunteers, entertainers, and every biker who attended, thank you. Your support, generosity, and community spirit are what make this event possible year after year.

As I look back on this year’s show, I can’t help but think that Jimi Swinamer would have been proud. Proud of a motorcycle community that continues to show up, support one another, and help those who need it most.

Nearly $24,000 raised. Countless memories made. Lives impacted.

🏆💥 Show & Shine Winner Alert! 💥🏆

Congratulations to Eugene, our 2026 Halifax Motorcycle Show Show & Shine Champion, who rode away $500 richer! 💰🏍️

Eugene was presented with his award and plaque by Greg Sheaves, Vice President of Bikers Down, making the moment even more special.

With so many outstanding motorcycles on display, the competition was fierce, but Eugene’s bike captured the votes and earned this year’s top honour.

A sincere thank you to everyone who entered a bike, voted, volunteered, sponsored, and attended the show. Together, we celebrated our motorcycle community while raising funds for Make-A-Wish Nova Scotia. 💙

💜 Riders United: Breaking the Silence 💜

Join us as we ride together to raise awareness for domestic violence, honour survivors, and remember those whose lives have been lost.

This year, riders will gather in three locations:
🏍 Halifax
🏍 Annapolis Valley
🏍 Amherst

Together, we will stand in solidarity with those impacted by intimate partner violence and domestic violence, sending a powerful message that no one should suffer in silence.

The evening will include a Candlelight Remembrance Service and Moment of Silence, providing an opportunity to honour and remember loved ones who are no longer with us.

If you have a loved one you would like included in our remembrance tribute, please text Dora at (902) 670-2735 with their name.

Every rider, passenger, friend, and supporter is welcome.

Together, we ride.

A huge thank you to Johnny Boulet at Moving Your Earth, along with Frankie Hollywood from FX 101.9 Today's Country, for helping make the Halifax Motorcycle Show such an incredible day! 🏍️🔥

Johnny doesn't just show up—he rolls in with a massive sea can stage, a sound system that is second to none, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to make the event a success. The music selection all day long was absolutely spot on. From classic rock favourites to songs that had people singing along and tapping their boots, it helped create an amazing atmosphere and kept the energy high from start to finish.

And Frankie... you absolutely brought the energy! From welcoming guests and vendors to keeping the crowd engaged throughout the afternoon, you were the perfect MC. Your enthusiasm, humour, and personality helped make everyone feel right at home.

Together, you helped create an afternoon filled with motorcycles, laughter, friendship, great music, and community spirit—all while helping raise funds for Make-A-Wish Nova Scotia.

Thank you both for being such an important part of the Halifax Motorcycle Show. We are incredibly grateful for your support and friendship. ❤️

WOW. 🖤

As I sit here tonight reflecting on the Halifax Motorcycle Show, my heart is so full.

To every volunteer who gave their time, every sponsor who believed in what we’re building, every vendor who set up a booth, every biker who rolled in, every family who stopped by, every person who bought a raffle ticket, played the poker run, grabbed a burger, fries, onion rings or nachos, and every single person who shared a post, invited a friend, or simply showed up…

Thank you.

This show may be small by some standards, but it has a lot of heart. Today was proof of what can happen when a community comes together for something bigger than ourselves.

To our volunteers—you worked tirelessly all day and I couldn’t have done it without you.

To our sponsors and vendors—thank you for supporting not only this event, but the children and families who will benefit from it.

To the motorcycle community—thank you for continuing to show that bikers are some of the most generous, caring people you’ll ever meet.

And to everyone who helped us honour the memory of Jimi Swinamer today, thank you. He believed in community, friendship, and helping others, and I think he would have been proud of what happened here today.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping make the Halifax Motorcycle Show such a special day.

🥶 Dear Mother Nature...

No wet t-shirt contest this year, folks.

At these temperatures we're one cold breeze away from an ugly sweater competition. 😂

Mother Nature... respectfully... what are you doing?

We ordered sunshine, chrome, and sunburns. Instead, it looks like we're getting hoodies, extra coffee, and everyone standing suspiciously close to Blondie's Nachos for warmth. 🌭🔥

But let's be honest... bikers are a tough bunch.

A little cool weather isn't stopping us from having a great day, supporting Make-A-Wish, checking out some amazing bikes, visiting our vendors, winning prizes!!!

So throw on a sweater, grab your riding buddies, and come join us!

And if anyone has a direct line to the weather department... now would be a great time to use it. ☀️😂
