Art Not Shameโ€™s Open Art Circle takes place weekly on Thursdays from 3 - 7 pm. You can bring your own project or use our free materials. All ages are welcome, with ages 12 and under requiring a guardian present. See you soon!

What goes on at Art Not Shame? We are located in the heart of Downtown Guelph and offer:

- A weekly Open Art Circle on Thursdays from 3 - 7 pm, where community members can drop-in and make art with their own materials (or use ours for free!)
- Weekly Creative Co-Working on Mondays from 10 am - 4 pm, for folks to work on personal administrative tasks in gentle community
- Monthly Songwriter's Circle on the first Saturday of every month (from 2 - 4 pm), where musicians can support one another and jam in an encouraging environment
- Various programs and workshops focused on community care and healing through creative arts practice
- Availability for Community-Benefit and private event rentals

We have lots of opportunities to offer and exciting programming to come, so get involved today! ๐Ÿ’“๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ“ฃ

As many of you know, our hub is located at 119 Wyndham Street North in Downtown Guelph. The City of Guelph is currently undertaking the Downtown Infrastructure Renewal Program, which will impact the surrounding area through late 2027.

We want to keep our community informed on what to expect and how construction may impact your visits, workshops, and events. If you encounter any barriers to access, safety concerns, or challenges while visiting, please let us know!

Operating at the intersection of arts, community, well-being and social justice, we offer programs and drop-in creative opportunities that foster belonging and strive towards collective well-being.

Through arts-based workshops, free drop-in programming, community art gatherings, and more, we offer a space for folks to:

Gently hosted by Miles Rawlin, this free, drop-in meetup for musicians and songwriters is an opportunity to share, support, collaborate, and create together in a relaxed environment. There was a deep resonance in ANS this evening all of which genuinely canโ€™t be put into words. I would say simply, and most profoundly, it was home. For all of us, myself included, who ache for home, , Dave Bansraj Jr., and Mir Ali gave us a slice of time where we felt we were home.

For all of us in the audience who know this yearning, a yearning to belong even a slice of time feels like a priceless gift. As we sat this evening in all our cultures, ethnicities, stories, and lives lived, we were together. We listened to stories and music that may not have been our own, but somehow became ours in the sharing.

In that space, there was no distance between us there was instead community!

Thank you to everyone who came through! Hereโ€™s to many more!!
