Here are a few photos from yesterdayโ€™s Girl Power Program!

We spent time talking about the importance of belonging and being part of something meaningful. Having a supportive community and people you can rely on can make such a positive impact on mental health and well-being. We discussed the value of supporting one another, building connections, and celebrating what makes us strong.

We are proud to be girls and proud to be part of this amazing Girl Power Program. Stay tuned next week when we showcase our completed project and all of the hard work that went into it!

Here are some photos from yesterdayโ€™s Digital Confidence Program in Berwyn, led by Laurie from the Grimshaw/Berwyn & District Community Adult Learning. Three seniors attended this informative session, where they learned about web browsers, search engines, downloading and using apps, communication tools, phone features, QR codes, different email platforms, Alberta.ca accounts, and other helpful everyday apps.

It was a great opportunity to build digital skills, ask questions, and gain confidence using technology in everyday life. Thank you, Laurie, for sharing your knowledge and helping participants feel more comfortable navigating the digital world!

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to take part in fitness and exercise and that these opportunities should be accessible and affordable, regardless of one's financial means.

To qualify for this program, applicants must meet the eligibility requirements and submit a completed application form and proof of income.

If approved, you will receive a 40% discounted monthly membership rate at the Mile Zero Regional Multiplex.

Looking for a fun way to stay active, connected and engaged this winter?

The Seniors Move & Connect Program is designed for older adults to move, connect and enjoy time together in a welcoming and supportive environment. This free exercise program promotes physical activity while making exercise accessible, enjoyable and tailored to the needs of seniors by our certified fitness instructor.

Regular activity can help improve mobility, strength, confidence and overall quality of life - while the social connection provides an opportunity to meet others and build community.

Here are some photos from our first Generations Connect Program with Grimshaw Public School! Ms. Burns and her Grade 2 class spent the afternoon creating gratitude trees, making spooky egg carton keepsakes, and coloring fun Halloween pages.

We were delighted to welcome eight seniors to join in the activities and connect across generations. Thank you to everyone who helped make this program such a wonderful start!
