Throwback to one week ago today! 💙

We’re still smiling thinking about the incredible energy, community, and support that filled the day. From patients and survivors to caregivers, families, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters, you made this event truly unforgettable.

The good vibes were unmatched, and we’re so grateful to everyone who came together to make the day such a success. Seeing our community unite in support of brain tumour patients and their families was inspiring and a reminder of why this event means so much.

We’re already missing it and can’t wait to be back in action for BTFC Walk 2027!

Thank you everyone for an incredibly successful walk day! The sense of community, positivity, and support was truly unmatched. Despite the weather, you all showed up and demonstrated the true meaning of strength, courage, and resilience; as patients, survivors, caregivers, loved ones, and supporters. 💙

A huge thank you to Diane McFarlane for being such a pillar in planning and organizing this special day. Your dedication and hard work did not go unnoticed. Thank you as well to our amazing committee members, guest speakers, volunteers, donors, and every single person who played a part in making today possible.

To our volunteers; your time, energy, and support are so deeply appreciated. And to our generous donors, thank you for helping make this event such a success.

Today was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together. I hope to see everyone again next year at the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada walk! Wooo! 🎉 🧠

Next up…. We’re very grateful to have a collection of beautiful handmade quilts and a stunning poinsettia & cardinal wall hanging donated to the Sudbury Brain Tumour Walk Silent Auction. ❤️

Each piece was crafted with incredible care and detail, making them not only cozy and timeless, but truly one-of-a-kind additions to any home.

(Middle picture [fish pattern] is a 52”x”60 and the grey ribbon quilt is 43”x56”. They are more of a throw or lap quilt. The wall hanging is 29”x48”.)

These special items will be available to bid on during Walk Day, with all proceeds supporting the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada and the many individuals and families impacted by brain tumours. 🩶
