👉 Here are some helpful tips if you are interested in making a quilt or afghan for donation to Project Linus Dufferin County Chapter.

💚 Each Chapter has different needs and community partners that they work with. At the moment we are in need of larger teen/twin size blankets. I know this size can be time consuming and costly to make but If you are looking for a larger project, this size is very much appreciated and needed in our community.

💚 We also have a fairly new partner that is requesting infant/baby size blankets, this size is often a quick make and popular for knit, crochet, or quilted blankets.

💚 Child size blankets are also a great size for our community partners and the blanket size that we place the most often, we are always looking for more of this size in fun child friendly colors and fabrics.

💚 These last few months have been a bit of a whirlwind! I have been quiet on this page but please know that I am working hard behind the scenes washing, packing, and distributing your beautiful donated blankets and quilts to our community partners!

💚 I wanted to take a moment to thank some of our recent blanketeers, Maureen, Judy, Deb, Janice, Liz and our friends at the Sewcial Stitchers. Please know that your blankets and talents are very much appreciated!

I wanted to share this beautiful Thank You note with all of you from the Ladies at the Grand Valley Hamper and Angel Program. With the help of our wonderful Blanketeers we were able to supply them with warm and cozy blankets this past holiday season for children and teens in our community. Your blankets make a difference and are very much appreciated. 💕

Project Linus gladly accepts any size of blankets but our chapter could use a top up on Infant size and Pre-Teen/Teen sizes in the new year. If you are looking to work on a new project over the winter months, please consider these sizes as a suggestion. Again, any size is very much appreciated but I do often get asked what sizes are needed most so I wanted to share that with you.

Thank you to our lovely Blanketeers who have helped fill many community requests for blankets this year. Your generosity, time, talent, and skill is so very appreciated by our community!

Today is giving Tuesday!

There are many ways to support Project Linus, you can make a blanket for someone in need, spread the word about our initiative, refer a child in need to one of our many chapters and of course make a monetary donation if you wish.
