It’s been another successful Grand Bank Polka Dot Trot! The grand total this year is $3355 which will help support cancer patients and their families in memory of Melissa.

Once again we are so thankful to everyone who bought tickets, donated or joined us on the walk. A special thank you to the local businesses who donated, we are so lucky to have a community of support behind us each year. We wouldn’t be able to do this without you

We are Melissa’s Maids, a team running in memory of our beautiful friend, sister, daughter, wife, and mother — Melissa Barter.

Melissa was just 30 years old when she passed away after a courageous fight with breast cancer. She was the quiet light in every room, with a heart full of love and laughter. She leaves behind a loving husband, a precious daughter Alexa, cherished family, and lifelong friends — all of whom carry her memory forward every single day.

Melissa’s life was short, but her impact was enormous. In her honor, we are participating in the Polka Dot Trot. Together, we can make a difference.

We run for Melissa. We run for Alexa. We run for every family still fighting, for those we've lost, and for the future we're determined to change.
