Well another Scavenger Hunt event in the books. Race The Village was fun but challenging. The following are the winners: 1st place Team Recently Engaged - Emily Knapp & Kohl Sedor ($300+ prize value), 2nd Place Team Flower Power - Rhonda and Georgia Doonanco ($250 prize value), 3rd Place Team Itty Bitty Ditty Committee - Sandra and Sidney L’Ecuyer ($100 prize value). Best Dressed Team Flower Power ($75 gift card to Perogy on a Fork, Village of Glendon hoodies). Last place Team Uhh - Kody, Tamara & son Karder LaRiviere, also took home a prize.
Everyone took home a door prize as well. Thank you to our sponsors - Village of Glendon, Lorie’s Place Salon, B-Dawgs Liquor Store, Hailey Harasem, Glendon Laundry & Confectionary. The Race is On!!!

Here is our new date - May 9th, 2026. Start time will be 1:30 p.m. Hope to see everyone there. Maybe Mother Nature will cooperate this time.

We have made the very sad decision to postpone Race The Village due to the weather and horrible road conditions. We want this to be a fun and enjoyable experience for all so we will be looking for a new date very soon! Stay tuned and stay safe!

The Race is On! All activities are inside with the exception of one location. This is an on foot event so dress for the weather as you move from location to location.

Please arrive well before 10:00 am to register your team. Can’t wait to see you!!!

Race the Village! April 25, 2026
Start time will be at 10:00 a.m. and end time will be at 12:00 p.m.
at the Glendon Curling Club.
Teams race and compete at different challenges.
This is a walking/running and timed event. 2-4 Members/Team
Prizes to be won. Prizes for the best dressed teams.
Cost is FREE!!!
