Wow! It's MTH Marina family boatbuild weekend again. I drifted up here today with the Shepherd in tow.
By end of day the temporary boatshop is set up under the Big Top overlooking Lake Kawagama.
The MLAOC have their popstand set up beside us and it all looks great!
Now if Bruce would just show up at the cottage, it will be libation time!

We had a great Saturday at the ACBS Gravenhurst boat show! Some of our Bobs and Don gave lots of Boatrides as part of the Ride Along program. George was the heart of our Paddle Carving centre although one of our Steves and others were right there helping as well.
Weather was not too hot and we all had a great day.

Don Locke heading north with our Penn Yan, Mariner 17. We replaced lower unit oil, loaded battery and tanks, he'll test before Gravenhurst show..I hope..lol

Today Stefan and I. Moved our 1962 Century Resorter into the boatshop! Finally!
We emptied the tubs of parts and sorted into preliminary groups. This is a bit of a restomod with beautiful hull restoration done by Peter Code of Tendercraft Boatshop.
The Interceptor 249hp was rebuilt by Beatty & Woods.
Our team will put everything back together!
There are a few details we're not sure of because of the new bottom. Where does the freshwater pickup go and where does the forward drain plug go? We might have a few more questions as we proceed.

Lighting flew yesterday! Steve E wants to deal with seepage around the forward end of the centreboard trunk so we decided this is a good way to get at the area!
Pretty exciting..lol
I also finished painting and varnishing the engine room in Magic Moment..scraping, sanding, decreasing, washing and finally the coats! Now the engines..

Beautiful day in the Glen and we had Beautiful turnout of volunteers!
Stefan and Maddie made more progress on the new store, maybe some paint will be laid on tomorrow..
George was drilling the access holes in the seaflea kit parts..
Steve E carried on with the final steps in the restoration of the BLSC Optis..
Stephen F and Mike were busy with repairs to the Mirror dinghy..
And the hardwood parts for the batch of 3 seaflea kits got cut out and routed!
FYI, all 3 of these kits are spoken for so book your position for one of the next 3 to avoid disappointment..haha

Another big step in Stefan's vision for the new store in the boatshop entrance! Thanks to Don for coming up to help with the flight of the Mini Gambler!

What a great day! Snuck away and joined the St John River Cruise for the first day on the water. Wonderful to see Mike, Kelly and Christie Buchanan Daniel again!
Rode with Ed Andrews in his "be**er" triple, lots of fun and gators. Hard to get pictures of the gators with Ed driving..lol
Great lunch at Three Bananas pub in Crescent City as usual.
It's mostly about getting together with a great family of friends!
