Does anyone have any extra green tomatoes? 💚

We have JUST enough for a small batch for our chow workshop next week, but would love more to be able to hand out to clients for Christmas. If you have even a few, we’d happily take them off your hands. Please reach out, drop them off, or let us know and someone can come pick them up this weekend! Thanks!

Let’s make Green Tomato Chow!
🗓️ Tuesday, October 13th
🕚 5:30-7:30pm
📍2 Hector Street, Glace Bay

With the remaining tomatoes left in our garden, we’re seeking volunteers interested to learn the steps to prepare and preserve this sweet and tangy Cape Breton favorite. What better way to help stock our shelves for the holidays! Supplies provided and no experience is necessary, but registration is required. Space is limited. A great big ‘Thank You’ to Woodland Home Building Center in Glace Bay for the materials needed for us to construct this new 15’ cucumber trellis. We’re so excited to monopolize on more of the vertical spaces in our garden. 🥒🤞
