Driftwood Players Story Theatre

Driftwood Players has been providing quality theatrical entertainment on the Sunshine Coast for over 40 years. We have extended our community outreach with Story Theatre, a public theatre troupe that brings story-telling right to the streets of the Sunshine Coast!

Many thanks to Judith Wilson and Angie Theilmann, for joining forces to oversee the 2016 summer season of Story Theatre. It was a fun and successful season thanks to their hard work, and to our wonderful team of directors, writers, actors, music makers, and stage crew! Who we are: A fun, no-experience necessary theatre group, performing outdoors for the public around the Sunshine Coast. If you're interested in being involved in community public theatre, please contact us! Producers, directors, actors, writers, musicians, and stage crew are all needed and welcome! We perform mostly outdoors and during the summer. Rehearsals run between May and June, with performances scheduled through July and August.

Story Theatre brings outdoor theatre to summer venues and festivals along the Sunshine Coast. We will stage twenty performances this summer, to be held at eighteen different venues across the Coast!
