We are excited to share that we are hosting another Multicultural Celebration this summer on Saturday, August 29!

This is a celebration of our town's cultural diversity and is a wonderful opportunity for newcomers and community members to connect, share cultures, and enjoy an afternoon together. Be sure to mark this one in your calendar!

We are also looking for some more individuals and/or families to be involved! If you're interested in representing your country/culture at this event, you can by either:
1) Sharing a food/snack from your culture at one of our cultural food tables
2) Performing a song, dance, or other cultural performance as part of a short multicultural showcase
We would love to have you participate if this interests you!

What a wonderful day exploring Gander together! 🚌

Our newcomers had the opportunity to learn more about the community they now call home through a guided tour of some of Gander's most meaningful landmarks and historic sites. The weather didn't always cooperate, but we didn't let that stop us. 😊
It's always special to discover the stories that make a place unique and to build a deeper connection to the community.

A huge thank you to Rhonda Lane for sharing her knowledge and making the tour so engaging. We also had the pleasure of meeting Mayor Percy Farewell during our visit to the Town Hall- a lovely surprise that made the day even more memorable!

And don't miss the last two photos... perhaps we're looking at a couple future mayors of Gander! 😄

Discover Gander: Guided Community Bus Tour
Wednesday, July 29th

Whether you're a newcomer to Canada who has recently arrived in Gander or has been living here for a while, this tour is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the community you now call home. 🏡

With a knowledgeable local guide, Rhonda Lane, we'll explore some of Gander's landmarks, history, and stories that have helped shape our town. Along the way, we'll make several stops and will also provide you with lunch.

**This free tour will run from 10:00am-3:30pm and is designed for newcomers who are curious about the history of Gander and would like to better understand the community they live in.** If that sounds like something you'd enjoy, we'd love for you to register and join us!

Also, if you know of someone else who has recently moved to Gander but isn't yet connected with C4, please feel free to invite them or share this information with them. We'd be happy to welcome them! 😄
