One year ago today, our C4 office here in Gander hosted our very first Conversation Cafe night. This program had already been going strong for many years with C4 St John's, but this was all brand new to us- and we truly didn't know what to expect.

Over this past year, Conversation Cafe has become so much more than just a place to practice English. It’s become a space where conversations turn into friendships, and everyone can feel like they belong.
We’re so grateful for the connections that have been made here.

Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning, joined us a few times, or are thinking about coming out for the first time, you are always welcome here. There’s a seat for you.

Here’s to another year of good conversations, laughs over coffee, and building community. 🩵

This month marks one year since we've opened our office, serving the newcomers in the Gander and Central NL area- and what a year it has been!

Over the past year, we've had the privilege of welcoming individuals and families from all over the world, helping them navigate life in Canada, build connections, and feel at home in their new community. Whether in our Conversation Cafe gatherings, special events, workshops, activities, or one-on-one support, every moment has been about bringing our community together and creating a place of belonging.

We're so grateful to everyone who has been a part of our first year, and we're looking forward to what's ahead.💙
