Saying goodbye to this fantastic crew today! These guys and gals have worked their butts off this summer, and we are so very thankful for them.

I hear comments all the time about how great our summer program is for such a small community, and those compliments can be directed right at these folks. They show up on time, are kind and caring, and so much fun! They don't roll their eyes (at least while I'm watching) when they have to construct yet another balloon arch or forever cutting out tiny pieces of paper - they're happy to put in the work to make each week special for the kids.

They were observant, energetic and very creative, creating a space that the children in our community looked forward to going each day.

Thanks for all you've done, you have our gratitude and respect, and if we're lucky, we hope to see you back again next year! ☺️

A shout out to our amazing summer staff who have gone above and beyond this summer in providing excellent quality of care, attention to detail, and most of all fun! You guys rock! ☺️

The hourly forecast for Eastport is not showing any rain for today, and nice temperatures for the day. Our field trip to Sandy Cove/Crooked Tree Park will go ahead as planned. See you soon! ☺️

Another fun day in the books with these fine folks! We visited the Salmonid Interpretation Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor before heading to King's Point. From there we had such a beautiful day, with boat rides from King's Point Adventure Tours, delicious snacks at Stage Grub,
a little shopping at a couple fabulous artisan shops, and a very interesting visit to the King's Point Whale Pavilion which hosts the largest Humpback whale skeleton display in the world. Fantastic weather to boot!

All in all, a fabulous way to spend a Monday. Thanks for coming! ☺️
