🌿 Welcome Kendall McLaughlin (they/she)!

We’re thrilled to introduce Kendall as the Galiano Arts Alliance’s first Outreach Projects Manager—and our very first employee, thanks to the support of the CRD Arts and Culture Growing Forward grant!

This past Wednesday, we hosted our first-ever GAA social, where Kendall shared a short presentation outlining exciting ideas and plans to support our vibrant arts community.

🌿 Hello Galiano Creators!

We are the Galiano Arts Alliance—a welcoming collective of creators on Galiano Island. Our community embraces all forms of artistic expression, from literature, glassblowing, and sculpture to music, painting, pottery, and beyond.

Open to all—no membership required—we gather monthly (excluding July, August, and December) for informal circle meetings that foster connection, collaboration, and community. These gatherings are a space to share ideas, experiences, and resources while celebrating the island’s rich diversity of artistic and cultural practices in an inclusive and equitable way.

This page will be used to showcase Galiano’s artists and creatives and share opportunities to help them thrive.
