🕯️ National Day of Mourning – April 28 🕯️

Today, IBEW Local 37 joins workers across Canada in recognizing the National Day of Mourning.

We remember those who have lost their lives, been injured, or suffered illness due to workplace incidents. We honour their memory and stand with the families, friends, and coworkers affected.

This day is also a reminder of the importance of health and safety in every workplace. Everyone deserves to return home safely at the end of the day.

Take a moment to reflect. Remember. Commit to safety.

Dear Members,

As we come to the close of another year, I want to take a moment to extend warm holiday wishes to you and your families on behalf of IBEW Local 37.

This past year has been a strong reminder of what we can accomplish when we stand together. Your dedication, hard work, and commitment to one another continue to strengthen our union and the communities we serve. Whether on the job, supporting fellow members, or participating in union initiatives, your efforts do not go unnoticed.

The holiday season is a time to reflect, recharge, and spend time with those who matter most. I hope the coming weeks bring you rest, joy, and moments worth celebrating. As we look ahead to the new year, I am confident it will bring new opportunities to grow, learn, and continue advocating for the well-being of our membership.

On behalf of the Executive Board and staff of IBEW Local 37, thank you for your continued solidarity and support. I wish you a safe, happy holiday season and all the best in the year ahead.

In solidarity,
