The North Shore Chapter of RGS Canada continues its conservation work. This past winter the Long Point Region Conservation Authority with financial support from the Chapter completed ruffed grouse habitat improvement work on its Beattie tract. The work included removing trees in a monoculture evergreen stand adjacent to deciduous forest, leaving brush piles and drumming logs.
